So it has come time and you have the wedding date set. Now you need to get all the things every bride needs for her big day. Depending on what type of wedding you are having, you will want to have some basic things. You need to know what dress, make-up, hairstyle, jewelry, and any other items you want in your wedding are before you start to go look for them. There are many helpful sources out there to choose from when deciding on the things you will need and want. Pick up a bridal catalog that will help you decide what style dress you prefer before trying on every one in a store. Make sure that not only your dress is something you like, but that it suits your body as well. This dress is supposed to compliment you and whom you are, not taking away from you or make you look funny. There are books that will also have styles and types of jewelry and other items that you may want in your wedding. Make a list of the items you need and want so you can check them off as you go.
Our passions do not live apart in locked chambers but dress in their small wardrobe of notions, bring their provisions to a common table and mess together, feeding out of the common store according to their appetite.
—George Eliot [Mary Ann (or Marian)
Buying the perfect gown can be really hard for some ladies. You will be surrounded by hundreds of dresses and it may be hard to know which one is best. Ask the sales girl to help you. In fact, tell her what you are looking for and let her pick out a few to choose from and then try them on. This will let you see what type of dresses compliments you and your body frame. Make sure the dress fits well, but is not snug; you don't want to be uncomfortable. Plus, you want to have some room in the dress to dance in and move around. If you are having a theme wedding or you don't want a traditional type of gown, try looking up your theme online and seeing some of the options available. You might be able to find a theme dress from a seamstress who specializes in costumes and design. You can have your measurements taken and ask to have a dress specially made for you. There are many great sources on the Internet such as E-bay that can help you find what you are looking for.
Once you have settled on a dress, you will need to get shoes to compliment what style you have chosen. If your dress is traditional, you will want white, of course. What kind of shoe will depend on your height and style preference. Many brides will go with a white ballet slipper for comfort if their dress is long. This way when and if the slipper is shown it, matches. Many ladies will go with a white flat or pump either in leather or satin, depending on the dress. This allows the bride to still be comfortable, but wear shoes with a heel. If the shoes are bought in leather, then you can also wear them again. Extremely high heels are not very practical and should be avoided when possible. They will not be comfortable and remember you will be in them all day. If you are much shorter than the groom and want the high heels to give you a lift, then make sure you have a change for the reception. For a non-traditional gown style, just about any shoe that compliments the dress will work. If you are having a wedding with a certain theme, try to find shoes that go with your theme.
We are for aiding our allies by sharing some of our material blessings with those nations which share in our fundamental beliefs, but we are against doling out money government to government, creating bureaucracy, if not socialism, all over the world. We set out to help 19 countries. We are helping 107. We spent $146 billion. With that money, we bought a 2-million-dollar yacht for Haile Selassie. We bought dress suits for Greek undertakers, extra wives for Kenya government officials. We bought a thousand TV sets for a place where they have no electricity.

So the basics are done and you want to add a bit of flare and individuality to your ensemble. Jewelry is a good next start. This should compliment what you are wearing and not be overpowering. Make sure that anything you pick out matches your wedding band. You can choose either a hanging necklace or even a choker. Earrings will be the next item. They can match the necklace or not. Depending on your hairstyle, you will want to decide whether you want studs, loops, or hanging. Whichever you choose, make sure they are not too big and compliment the rest of your attire. A bracelet should be avoided if possible and no rings other than the one that will be placed on your finger. Wearing those items will take away the attention of the wedding band, which will defeat the purpose. Remember when choosing jewelry for your wedding. less is more.
